“HiKent” is a county-wide initiative and service offering clinics for hearing-impaired people in maintaining their hearing aids as well as offering advice on other services to help with their hearing. 

Here at Birchington Baptist Church, we have the pleasure of hosting one of these clinics under the leadership of Irene Hide, who has over 20 years of experience working as a nurse and in the HiKent initiative.  The services that are offered at these clinics, all funded by the NHS, are:

• Tube Cleaning
• Tube Replacements
• Dome cleaning
• Dome Replacements
• Battery Replacements

The clinics are run every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month

If you need to access this service then pop by. You will be warmly welcomed, made to feel at home by the loyal and friendly team and offered a hot or cold drink while you wait or while mingling with the other service users.
